Our approach
We recognize that fear, anxiety, and reactivity aren’t behavioural problems — they’re communication. When a pet tells us they’re uncomfortable, we listen and adjust. That might mean:
- A quieter entrance or exam space
- Slower handling and longer appointment times
- Pre-visit anti-anxiety medication when appropriate
- Building familiarity through “happy visits” before exams
- Working with you on at-home counter-conditioning between visits
Built for separate species
Our purpose-built clinic has thoughtfully designed separate areas for cats, dogs, and exotics — so your cat doesn’t have to sit next to a barking dog while waiting, and your rabbit doesn’t have to share airspace with their natural predators.
Tell us ahead of time
If your pet finds vet visits difficult, please let our team know when booking. We’ll plan ahead together — whether that means scheduling at a quieter time, prescribing pre-visit medication, or simply giving the visit the extra space it needs.
